Dr. Teri Solochek
Scott Canter began his career in 1987 working with teens as a direct care staff at a therapeutic boarding school. Scott ran groups, provided individual counseling, taught classes and facilitated adventure treatment at the boarding school in Southern California. Over the next 20 years Scott worked in the treatment industry where he was materially involved in developing adventure treatment programs in New York, North Carolina and Texas. As the National Director for a large educational treatment corporation he also supported the acquisition of therapeutic programs in Montana, North Carolina, Oregon and Utah. After two decades “on the ground” Scott joined a private consulting firm, establishing their office in Dallas, TX, where he began working directly with families as a private case manager and therapeutic consultant. During his tenure as the firm’s Managing Director, Scott supervised a team of therapeutic and educational consultants in Atlanta, Austin and Dallas. Scott works with clients nationwide.
