Pilcrow Advisors is a therapeutic and educational consulting practice with consultants based out of Illinois and Utah. Jamie Goodman is the founder of Pilcrow Advisors and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and experienced Therapeutic & Educational Consultant.
Kristie Jensen has a bachelor’s degree in social work and has been working in the mental health treatment space for over twenty years, both in direct care and admissions/marketing. Jamie & Kristie have been working together for more than 8 years.
Jamie & Kristie travel regularly throughout the United States to evaluate schools and programs for both typically developing and special needs clients. They have visited hundreds of schools & programs to-date and work diligently to keep their knowledge base current.
Pilcrow Advisors partners with families to develop short and long-term goals, exploring possibilities both local and distant. Jamie & Kristie have worked with clients and their families on school and program placement for over a decade and have placed hundreds of clients in appropriate schools & programs, including residential treatment centers, therapeutic boarding schools, wilderness therapy programs, stabilization & assessment centers and young adult treatment and transition programs. In addition to placement support, Jamie & Kristie often remain involved to provide clinical case management support for families who benefit from ongoing support.
