Rebecca Grappo, M.Ed., Certified Educational Planner

Rebecca Grappo, or Becky as most people call her, was born in Orlando, Florida and – fun fact – worked as a tour guide at Walt Disney World throughout her high school and college breaks. She credits that experience for really helping her to develop her public speaking and interpersonal skills since she was meeting people from around the world. Her career as an educator has included working in both American international and US public schools, and she has lived in 10 countries. Becky also worked at the US Department of State where she helped the children of American diplomats find the right fit boarding schools and also collaborated with the Office of Medical Services on some very complex cases involving therapeutic placements. She founded RNG International Educational Consultants, LLC 16 years ago and in that time has worked with scores of students with varying profiles and needs. Becky has traveled to see prides herself on having visited hundreds of schools across the US and throughout Europe, and uses her decades of experience of working with young people to find the right fit school or program. This year she is the chair of the IECA Schools Committee and thus, has her ear close to the ground to know the latest in what is happening in the world of boarding schools. She loves to work with young people because of the opportunity she has to help them to transform their lives.
