Isabelle Royer

“No one left behind” is what guides most of Isabelle’s life choices & activities. She is the parent to 2 young adult children-one of whom was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder early in their teens. Our experience of embracing life with serious mental illness as a family may help inform, break through stigma & fear, renew hope for others and make them feel less alone.
What sealed the deal for Isabelle to participate in the panel (aside from joining her WABT friends) is the scarcity of specific resources available to patients and families around this condition.
The bulk of her service work focuses on sharing yoga, mindfulness and peer support for Cancer Support Community, PFLAG and Seeking Light Foundation.
