Colin spent the final two years of high school in wilderness and residential treatment programs, an experience that shaped the trajectory of his life. He went on to build a career in professional sports and tech, but ultimately felt pulled toward work that more directly reflected what he had been through. He shifted his focus to supporting young people navigating similar challenges, which led him to co-found Not Therapy alongside Hayley Caddes. Through Not Therapy, he provides coaching and mentorship for teens and young adults who are seeking something beyond traditional therapy or who are transitioning out of treatment back into everyday life. His approach is grounded in lived experience and centers on relatable support, consistent accountability, and practical tools that translate into real change in daily life.
