I was born and raised in Northern California, but now reside in a suburb of Portland, Oregon. I work as a security researcher at Intel. I’ve been married for 22 years and have two children, one of whom is my qualifier.
My journey to find peer support started when my son first went to a wilderness program, but really took hold when joining the rooms of OPLM. I often like to say “I’ve been going to OPLM meetings since before they were OPLM”. The connections and friendships that have been born out of our “little Zoom boxes” are beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in my life.
