Beth has been a Peer Parent at OPLM since 2022. As an adoptive parent of a young adult son Joey, she has advocated tirelessly for adopted people, and tried to bring light to the complexities of adoption. She and Joey created a podcast (Unraveling Adoption) and co-wrote a book (Adoption and Suicidality) to help others. Through her songs tumultuous teenage years, she learned to take care of her own personal growth first, and to find her own grounding in order to help her son. Radical acceptance, the CRAFT Method, and Invitation to Change has helped her (and her son) greatly.
