I live in Northern California, where I have raised four adult children. I am a Mayo Clinic Certified Wellness Coach and a Parent Facilitator for The Partnership to End Addiction. When my son was struggling with mental health challenges, there were very few resources available to connect with other parents and learn valuable tools to facilitate a strong foundation for communication.
I embarked on a journey to learn as much as I could to help myself and others who walk in similar shoes. Connecting with other parents, hearing their struggles, and relating to so many of their stories has provided hope on this journey.
